flower child, i know you don’t know me, and I know I don’t know you, but tell me, honestly, what do you find most frightening about me? is it my face? perhaps my style of dress? or is the wonder you have in that mind of yours about what’s in my bag? whether it’s something friendly or maybe hostile? it’s hard to say, isn’t it, flower child?
we thought we were going to take over the world. that’s why we came here. that’s why we felt we belonged here. but after several years, nothing has really changed, except for a few more lost dreams. now i don’t know how to leave.
